🌺A Family Dinner at a Restaurant🌺 Last Saturday evening, the Johnson family decided to go to a restaurant for dinner. It was a special day because their daughter, Emma, had just passed her final exam. They arrived at the restaurant at around 7:30 p.m.
A friendly waiter welcomed them and showed them to their table. The restaurant was busy, but it had a warm and comfortable atmosphere. “Can we see the menu, please?” Mr. Johnson asked. “Of course,” the waiter replied and gave them four menus.
Everyone looked at the menu carefully. Emma decided to order a chicken burger with French fries. Her younger brother, Daniel, wanted spaghetti with tomato sauce. Mrs. Johnson ordered grilled fish with vegetables, and Mr. Johnson chose a steak with a salad.
“What would you like to drink?” the waiter asked. “I'll have a glass of orange juice, please,” Emma said. “I'd like some sparkling water,” said Daniel. The parents ordered coffee. While they were waiting for their food, the family talked about their week.
Emma told them about her exam, and Daniel talked about a funny thing that had happened at school. After about twenty minutes, the food arrived. Everything looked delicious, and everyone started eating. “This steak is really good!” Mr. Johnson said.
“The fish is delicious too,” Mrs. Johnson replied. After dinner, the waiter brought them the dessert menu. Emma and Daniel ordered chocolate cake, while their parents decided to share a piece of cheesecake. When they finished their dessert, Mr. Johnson asked for the bill.
The family thanked the waiter and left the restaurant at around 9:30 p.m. They were all happy and satisfied. On the way home, Emma smiled and said, “That was a wonderful evening.” Her mother smiled back and said, “Yes. It's always nice to spend time together as a family.”
